Problem on first section of Mille Miglia, almost ran out of petrol, but the JSW team were quick to the rescue. Almost finished the 9 hour drive to Milan. Quite tired after the first day. A glass of wine and a nice dinner is what I need.
Final day before the start of the Mille Miglia and Duncan has been working on the Road Books.

Today AC Bluebird was loaded onto a specialist car transporter and is now heading towards Europe. It will arrive in Brescia Monday morning.
The AC Bluebird Mille Miglia Team meet up at JSW to have a final run through before the car is despatched to Brescia. Duncan, Andy, Bob and myself ran through the checklist that included hammers, gloves, spare batteries, energy bars and even baby wipes. (We don’t want to get our hands dirty!)
Today AC Bluebird was allocated number 252. This hopefully means a sensible start and finish time on each race day.
Mark Aldridge, who owns Ace 234, has competed and successfully finished the Mille Miglia twice. His outstanding achievement was the inspiration for Kevin Shilling to also attempt the 1000 mile challenge around Italy in AC Bluebird.
