The main square in Siena. I was here over ten years ago when we were importing Italian wine. I promised myself I’d come back, but never expected it to be through the Mille Miglia.
A good morning so far, did well in the times sections through the hills. Duncan is a brilliant navigator, certainly couldn’t have done this without him.
The Italians have made the Mille Miglia very authentic, the roads are just like the original race in 1927. Potholes and poor signage, but hey, the sun is shining and life is good.
