AC ‘Bluebird’ has been mixing with the posh crowd recently!
I received an invitation to display AC ‘Bluebird’ at a gathering of Aston Martins, and this was no park anywhere event, AC ‘Bluebird’ was in pride of place, where everyone could see it.
Having already owned three Aston Martins, I am thinking of getting another as my everyday car. Spending time amongst so many wonderful Astons and talking to owners confirmed it is a great car to own and as exciting to drive as AC ‘Bluebird’.
I answered lots of questions about AC ‘Bluebird’ and sold a few copies of my book ‘Reckless!’. The main question I was asked by many Aston owners was, “Would I do the Mille Miglia again?” The answer is “Yes, but not in AC ‘Bluebird’, I’m on the lookout for another project. Another car with history, that I could trust to get me round Italy safely. Maybe an Aston Martin!!!”
Special thanks to Tony Cutting and his family for a wonderful day, superb food, and friendly company. Life is good.
