Our little Airbnb had a special visitor recently, Simon Wade from Somerset arrived in his beautiful Lancia Fulvia. Simon was staying at our Airbnb as he had an invitation to show his car at a Goodwood’s Members’ Open Day.
Simon’s car is very special to him, and it is in excellent condition. He drove it from Somerset without any problems; the car runs beautifully.
I was keen to get the Lancia Fulvia alongside AC ‘Bluebird’ and to hear about Simon’s car. The Fulvia is an important car for Simon; it brings back special memories of his childhood and family trips.
Unfortunately, the Lancia Fulvia did not win the popular vote at the Members’ Open Day; he was pipped by a Volkswagen Notchback, but the car received a lot of interest and kind comments.
