Not So RECKLESS has had a Canadian film premiere at the Crazy Cookie House
Popcorn and AC Bluebird Cookies

The AC Bluebird film, ‘Not So RECKLESS’, has had a Canadian film premiere in the wonderful setting of Metchosin, Vancouver Island.

Helen and David McArthur, founders of the amazing ‘Crazy Cookie House‘, organised the special showing of ‘Not So RECKLESS’, and to mark the occasion, special AC Bluebird cookies were baked and popcorn provided.

On the West Coast of Canada there is a strong connection with the United Kingdom and a keen interest in the Donald Campbell legacy.

Helen McArthur did a short introduction to the film and copies of the book ‘Reckless!‘ were available for people to peruse. Commenting on the film, Helen McArthur said, “There has been too much made of Donald Campbell’s death, but this film celebrates his life and the 70th anniversary of his first record breaking triumph.”

The film is also a celebration of the resilience and reliability of AC cars over many, many decades.
