The launch of my book Reckless! at Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit a few weeks ago was a great success and raised over £36,000 for Dementia Support. It was a busy day with amazing drivers, like Colin Wynn in his Porsche, making full use of the track. I took AC Bluebird round the circuit a few times but mostly I was signing books and managed to get through two pens.
On Tuesday 16 August I will be interviewed at 9:45 by Alun Newman on Radio Solent’s Breakfast Show. Alun is interested in hearing about the book and the money raised for Dementia Support. As I have said many times before, this damn car is taking me on amazing journeys and new experiences. I think Donald Campbell would have a little chuckle about how his old car has changed my life.
