The AC Bluebird Mille Miglia Team meet up at JSW to have a final run through before the car is despatched to Brescia. Duncan, Andy, Bob and myself ran through the checklist that included hammers, gloves, spare batteries, energy bars and even baby wipes. (We don’t want to get our hands dirty!)
A jovial handshake with Duncan and myself was followed by some serious head scratching by Andy as we had difficulty connecting the safety harness together. (The harnesses are designed for slimmer drivers.) So we didn’t bother and took the car for a test run and returned safely.
