SUCCESS at GOODWOOD

This year there was no rain at the AC Owners’ Club Sprint Race at Goodwood. In dry conditions I was able to hurtle round the Goodwood circuit in AC Bluebird and win my class in a tough race up against an AC Special and a very fast AC Greyhound.

Almost lost the car on one run at St Mary’s Corner, but managed to get the car off the grass and in the right direction.

A big thank you to Peter de Rousset-Hall who took these brilliant photographs and managed to avoid photographing me struggling on grass. No rain, but the grass was very slippery!
