AC Bluebird, Overhead Photograph
Perspective photography
by the brilliant Mr Cobb!

On a recent trip to Gun Hill Studios in East Sussex several classic photographs of AC Bluebird were taken. But this was no series of snap-shots and hope for the best. No, Rupert Cobb took meticulous care to set up the shot to get the right perspective. To create the right level of lighting to show the curves of the car. And, he ensured he got a true and consistent colour. The photographic process took many hours, with the final image being created out of many staggered photographs.

After two days of filming in the Studio, in immaculate conditions, the little car was driven home along the grimy and murky A27, narrowly avoiding speed cameras.
